Se concluye que el nivel de informacion sobre los parametros demograficos basicos de Haiti es quizas el mas pobre dentro de los paises del Caribe y de la America Latina, pero no tanto como la de los paises del Africa Tropical. Con respecto a la mortalidad, se observa una mayor deficiencia, siendo lamentable que no se haya aprovechado la Encuesta Mundial de Fecundidad para incluir mas preguntas sobre este topico.
