| Sumario: | This article aims to demonstrate the similarities and dissimilarities between the Brazilian and Mozambican Municipalities, especially the power to decide the municipalities, the light of the Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil in 1988 and the Constitution of the Republic of Mozambique, respectively, highlighting mainly the municipality as a being endowed with its own autonomy, consisting of the organization and powers in the pursuit of local interest. Initially, we present the concept of Municipality, competence and power to decide appropriate structures of the countries under review. Then analyzed issues related to power to decide the municipality. At this point were aborted aspects the organization, structure and functioning of the municipalities in question, their skills, autonomy and subordination. Lastly, some problems that are listed, analyzed the loved face in carrying out their duties. |
