Sumario: | Starting from the premise that archeology, by definition, does not seek the necessary use or recycling of archaeological remains within the territory that contains them, which could materialize into the creation of identity, wealth and culture enclaves, this work proposes an inductive method of analysis, previous to the territorial recycling of the archaeological site, based on the figure of the insertion form, which examines, through several parameters, the relationship between the emerged archaeological strata and the contemporary container territory. Through the study of 40 archaeological sites located on the Spanish Costa del Sol, a heavily anthropized area, a taxonomy is developed based on the evaluation of this insertion form, inferring the suitability or potential recycling of the archaeological remains into the territorial or macro scale, differently to the micro or plot use, advocated by archeology through the mere musealization of the remains. Finally, after the analysis and assessment of the insertion form of the archaeological site, a Chart of Opportunity or Exploitation of the archaeological remains can be prepared, where the different territorial use proposals could be shown, with the ultimate goal of being able to use these remains, often completely useless, on the creation of full-of-character and identity spaces, which would contribute to the evolution of the individual and society, in every possible way. |
