The Casa Ricordi is the most advanced one from the technical and business point of view, considering that it has the best musicians and illustrators in this time. The investigation means a contribution to the birth of the first Italian graphics companies, the seed for future publishing agencies. We have found contracts, assignments, payment orders and even the discovery of a sketch from the great illustrator - Cappiello - in the basements of the Campari company. It had some author's handmade notes, showing the agreement to send to be printed. The sketch had no brand or commercial product, this would be added later, once the agreement was sealed. The Casa Ricordi was born as a copy shop, and in less than a century it became the most powerful graphics company in Italy and Europe. It contributed decisively to Liberty's successful, a style as cosmopolitan as the illustrators who worked in Ricordi.Aborda el estudio del cartel publicitario italiano desde una doble perspectiva: artística y comunicativa, en el período que va de finales del siglo XIX hasta la Primera Guerra Mundial. La Casa Ricordi se comporta como una primera agencia de publicidad cuando este concepto era completamente novedoso en Europa. La investigación supone una contribución al nacimiento de las primeras empresas gráficas italianas, como germen de las futuras agencias publicitarias. Hemos encontrado contratos, encargos, órdenes de pago e incluso, el descubrimiento de un boceto del gran ilustrador Cappiello en los sótanos de la empresa Campari, con anotaciones a mano del propio autor, mostrando el acuerdo para mandar a la impresión. Un boceto sin marca ni producto comercial, algo que se añadiría después, una vez sellado el acuerdo. La Casa Ricordi nace siendo una copistería y en menos de un siglo se convierte en la empresa gráfica más potente de Italia y de Europa.
