MS medium supplemented with 1 mg L-1 BAP + 0.1 mg L-1 IBA, and, Woody plant medium fortified with 2 mg L-1 BAP + 0.1 mg L-1 IBA recorded maximum proliferation efficiency. MS medium supplemented with BAP @ 0.1 mg L-1 and devoid of auxin recorded optimum elongation of micro-shoots. MS medium fortified with 2 mg L-1 IBA gave highest rooting percentage and average number of roots per explant.
