Sumario:To reach the borders of the state of Islam to Syria and Mesopotamia, Müslims had encountered with the Hellenistic, Persian and Indian cultures. As a result of this, mutual interactions occured. Müslims were interested with curiosity and interest in these different cultures. Before this encounter, there were important culture centers here. The most important centers of Hellenistic culture of Alexandria, Urfa, Nusaybin, Antioch, Harran, was Gundi-Şapur. The beneficiaries of this cultural achievements was the Abbasids. Through the translation were reached to the ancient word wealthes. Andalusia obtained this cultural heritage from Baghdad. Europe introduced with this ancient culture heritage through the Müslims.
