Sumario:The aim of this article is to understand how it is perceived the encouragement of Cooperativa Agropecuária de Patrocínio – Coopa/MG – on the succession processes in the properties of their members and even the family involvement and youth activities of the institution. This research presents a qualitative nature of the exploratory methodology. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires at 41 Families cooperative. It became clear the importance of cooperative organization for the development of activities in family units of production and the important involvement of the whole family in the activities developed by the cooperative. However, the cooperative Families do not realize involvement of direct actions related to the succession processes by the cooperative.
