Sumario:It is a well know fact that our country has commonly experienced natural disasters. During the natural disaster happened, many people lose their lives and there could be essntial economic losses as well. Depending on this case, it is seen that there are continuing discussion whether or not accurate and effective intervention against disaster is feasible. The fact that the occurence of natural disasters causes significant losses and it is subsequently seen considerable debate has been forced to make an effective disaster response system. There is no doubt that search and rescue organization have important roles and responsibilities in this system. The factors that affect the achievement of the personnel taking part in this organization have to be posed in order to rise the level of success in responding to disaster ; thus it can be positive effect to rescue the number of lives. This research is to aim at evaluating correlation between satisfaction levels and perception of achievement of personnel who work in emergency serach and rescue association located in Erzurum. The Association selected for the study is one of 11 working association which is connected to AFAD in Turkey. According to the research findings, there is a significant relationship between staff’s satisfaction level and perceptions of achievement. In this study, measuring the interaction of the dimensions of employee satisfaction and perception of achievement were analyzed. In this context, these analyzes have revealed significant findings. It could be argued that these findings are important in terms of direction and guidance to Association where research has been carried out and similar organizations as well. In additioın to this, the research may contribute fort the future research.
