Sumario:The aim of this study is to make a general overview of graduate theses prepared in the field of Curriculum and Instruction in Turkey. It was aimed to determine the distribution of graduate theses in terms of research subject, research model, study group, data collection tools and data analysis techniques. Totally 243 master’s theses and 48 doctoral theses were investigated in the study. Document analysis technique and content analysis were used in the study. Graduate thesis mostly concentrated on curriculum evaluation, teaching approaches, models, strategies, methods and techniques. Study group of the theses were the teachers, the students of elementary school, high school and university students. The researchers used scales and questionnaires, achievement test, interviews, document and observation techniques. Data analysis techniques used in the theses are independent groups t test, one way ANOVA, MANOVA and regression analysis. It has also been determined that in qualitative studies content analysis, descriptive analysis and document analysis were utilized to analyze the data.
