One of these forms are cryptocurrency and the most common of them -Bitcoin. The article examines the attractive features of virtual currency and crypto-technology. The article presents the statistical and comparative analysis of the spread and use of Bitcoin. The article identifies the threats and risks arising from the decentralization of the payment system.
