Sumario:It is known that hypoglycemia is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular adverse events including death. ACE-inhibitors, when taken withantidiabetic drugs, can cause hypoglycemic episodes by improving insulin sensitivity. This clinical case illustrates the necessity to monitor plasmaglucose in the early phase of the treatment by the ACE-inhibitors in diabetic patients.
