Sumario:Contagion (2011) was actually released in 2011 by Warner Bros, but since the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, this film has been on the rise again. This film shows the spread of a virus, as well as the government’s efforts to deal with the spread of a virus that is rapidly spreading. This study aims to analyze the social issue inside the Contagion (2011) as well as in the society. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data acquisition through surveys and observations and supported by literature studies related to the research theme along with sociology of literature as the supporting approach. The result of this research stated that the social issues is caused by the rumours and misleading information which leads to fear and panic among the society.
