Sumario:Observing the effect of global competition on sport industry forms the main aim of this research. With the fact that the rivalry has spread over a wider area, the concept of globalization has settled in our lives. Also, this concept has affected every part of our lives closely and shaped industries of the country. In this context, the sports industry has also designed itself according to the concept of globalization. Competition conditions changing with globalization have influenced the companies and led them to undergo a change and be different. So, beside producing goods, information and services the firms choose the option of making plans about the future by combining their aims with the aims of rival firm. Within this planning process, in different ways and businesses have sponsored the sport clubs. At this point global rivalry has put forth its effect on sport industry. In this study as a method, literature scanning has been done about global rivalry and the concepts of sport industry and by relating the information found to the sport industry implications that are about the aim of the study have been presented. It is expected that the results that have obtained at the end of the research will be a source for the studies that will be carried out about global rivalry and sport industry. As a result, in this study the effect of global rivalry on sport industry has been detected and this effect has been expressed with monetary and numerical values. In addition, it has been observed that this competition provides opportunities for the services to be exist and it has been seen that the people are given with mene quality goods and services in this rivalry atmosphere.
