This assumption we made allows us to develop the quantum model of the geomagnetic field evolution from its start to its disappearance. Unlike the generally accepted dynamo our model provides an obvious source of energy which is a phase transition and the thermal, mechanical and electrical energy released during it. The latter generates a double electric layer which rotation gives rise to the initial dipole field. Changing its direction the phase transition causes a reversal of the magnetic field.
