However, as intellectual Ottoman authoresses, they sometimes differed in the point of view expressing issues related with womanhood. Fatma Aliye continued Ahmet Cevdet Pasha’s traditional and devoted Islamic approach as his daughter. However, her two year younger sister Emine Semiye sometimes differed in both her life style and works from the ideas of her father and sister.
