Sumario:The article analyzes the process of reflection of the most important religious conflict s i n English caricature at the turn of XVIII-XIX centuries: Anglo-French, anglicano-dissenters and ProtestantCatholic. Fairly common in English public opinion point of view, according to which the war with France is a struggle against irreligion, was reflected in the cartoon, but was not dominant. Dissenters aroused the hostility of cartoonists in the 1790s because of their support for the ideas of the French revolution. Anticatholic sentiments, traditional for England, are presented in the cartoon to the fullest. At the same time, mitigation of anticatholicism in the 1820s, also reflected in the cartoon. In general English caricature, which was the channel of visualization and representation of public sentiment, could be considered as an important historical source.
