To this end, the whole coursebook was investigated employing the content analysis method, and a total number of 1396 visuals related to daily life and profession in Germany were detected. After that, these visuals were also thematically categorized. Six different themes were generated based on categorizations and codes found in Neuner’s "Experiences of universal existence" and Güvenç’s "Guide to Cultural Contents and Elements". These themes are environment, education, nutrition, family, leisure time, and professional life. These 1396 visuals were analyzed, and 603 of them were included as the main data of this study. They were categorized in accordance with the six pre-determined themes. In addition, these categorized visuals were also analyzed within themselves, and the images that these visuals created for the reader were also interpreted according to the pre-determined themes. The results revealed valuable insights related to how daily and professional life were represented in the related coursebook. Based on these images, it can be said that great importance was attached to preserving the environment and historical elements, and they were tried to be introduced to the reader. Circle seating was preferred to facilitate face-to-face interaction and communication in the classroom, great importance was given to visualization, and vocabulary cards were frequently used in language teaching. Besides, images of snacks and a healthy diet related to German food culture were also noticed. When it comes to the family themes, results showed that communication among family members was prioritized, and family members were often visualized as spending their leisure time together doing various activities. Another essential point that results revealed is that people also had fun with their friends, spent their leisure time in nature, doing physical exercises, and reading.
