Through adjusting the parameters of the planar superstrate, it is possible to change the coverage range and to make the beam more flat. To verify the proposed method, some simulated results are presented and two prototypes with homogeneous dielectric slab superstrate and with patterned dielectric slab superstrate are fabricated and measured.
