Mistakes in the language, which are widely used without giving importance to their being wrong, are deeply rooted in the language, have made us forget their original meanings and resulted in the wrong forms being perceived as correct. The aim of this research is based on the general examination of the Galatımeşhur in today's Turkish and the determination and evaluation of the awareness of the teachers of various gender, age, branch, professional experience. In this study, qualitative research methods and techniques were used. The work group of the research consists of 100 teachers from different branches, working voluntarily in the Ministry of National Education and in various provinces of Turkey. In the research, teachers' opinions about the Galatımeşhur were asked in order to determine and evaluate their awareness about the Galatımeşhur taking into account the variables such as gender, age, branch, professional experience. For this purpose, using semi-structured interview method, data have been collected. The data collected in the research have been analyzed with the content analysis method. The evidences have been interpreted by creating codes and themes.
