Sumario: | Empathy is on of the necessary source for make people live together. Because, the first rule of having good relationship with the closer environment requires understanding that what he or she is feeling in their bad or good moments and treating according to the their feelings. In this study, comparing the empathic tendency levels of sport sciences faculty students in terms of different variables and determining whether there was significant difference or not were purposed. Fırat University is constituted universe of study also Sport Sciences Faculty students who studied in 2015-2016 education season were constituted sample of study. Totally 150 students particpated to this study. A questionnaire which one composed of two parts were used to determine of emphatic tendency levels of stundents who participated to study. The first part of questionnaire includes five questions towards Sport Sciences Faculty student’s demographic informations. The second part includes ‘’Emphatic Tendency Scale (ETS)’’ conducted validity-reliability study by Dökmen in 1988. Gathered data were analyzed on SPSS 15.0 statics pocket program and 0,05 considered as significance level for data’s validity and reliability. Consequently, Sport Sciences Faculty students scored high emphatic tendency levels were determined. But there were no impact of gender, age, department, mother and father educational status variables on students’ emphatic tendency levels were concluded. |
