Firstly in this work ?K.K. YUDAHIN’s contribution to Kyrgyz lexicography will be discoursed. Standard ?Kyrgyz was formed in the end of the first quarter of the XX. century. Both in Kyrgyz ?language’s development and Kyrgyz lexicography YUDAHIN has a significant place.? YUDAHIN’s first press of his Kirgizsko-Russkiy Slovar (Kyrgyz-Russian ?Vocabulary), which was printed in Moscow in 1940, has twenty five thousand ?keywords. The words are written assorted both in Latin and in Cyrillic letters. The ?Russian part of this vocabulary was translated into Turkish by A. Battal TAYMAS in ??1945 and 1948. The second press was printed in 1965 again in Moscow. The ?vocabulary which consists of one volume, has thirty seven thousand five hundred ?thirty eight lexical entries with cyrillic letter. The Kirgizsko-Russkiy Slovar (Kyrgyz-?Russian Vocabulary) printed in 1985 in the same place has two volumes. In the first ?volume, that involves letters from A to J, lexicon entry number is nineteen thousand ?five hundred eleven, and the second volume contains letters from K to Y in which ?lexicon number is seventeen thousand twenty seven. This vocabulary was reprinted ?as a complete volume in 1999.? In this paper the emergence and dissimilar press’ of Kirgizsko-Russkiy ?Slovar’s (Kyrgyz-Russian Vocabulary), the preparation of this vocabulary and the ?comparison of the 1940 and 1965 press’ is discussed. In our days, although K. K. ?YUDAHIN’s vocabulary is very old, it’s benefit to determine the kyrgyz language ?treasue and word usage cannot be disregarded.
