Globalization of economy and productive restructuring have revolutionized the worlds of work, which attended the dismantling national and international labor markets and saw new working relationships emerge and consolidate - outsourcing, temporary work contracts, part-time work, work from home, banked hours, service contracts - and new professional skills that caused significant repercussions on the union movement and workers' life. The considerations developed here result from analysis of a large number of studies of the Social Sciences, especially in the area of Sociology of Work, and from research conducted and directed by the author over the last twenty years.
