Sumario:In no other case in the history of cinema has the relationship between the original and the remake been so complex and controversial as in “Yojimbo” (1961) by Akira Kurosawa and “Per un pugno di dollari” (1964) by Sergio Leone. And in no other case has the remake issue become a court case, by taking into account the perspective of plagiarism, rather than relying on the expertise of film historians and critics.
