The data of the study were collected through a study sheet including five open ended questions germane to the cartoon. The results showed that almost all the students perceived the right message in the cartoon. Most of the students stated that the man in the cartoon fell from affection, mercy and zoolatry. Moreover, about half of the students depicted that they would have restrained the man from swatting, if they were there.
