The research has been conducted by screening model. The research sample is a group of 299 students, including the students in the Faculty of Education, and the Faculty of Theology in Dokuz Eylul University, selected randomly. Two hundred and ninety-nine students attending in the research (N=299) consist of 186 female (62%), and 113 male (38%) students. The age range of the students is between 19 and 25. The data collection tools are Beck Depression Scale, the Activities of Religious Coping Scale, and Personal Information Form including demographic features. While the data acquired from the study have been assessed, SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for Windows 17.0 program have been used. The descriptive statistical methods (Number, Percentage, Average, and Standard Deviation) have been employed in the assessment of the work data. T-test and anova tests from parametric tests and Mann Whitney U test from Non-parametric tests as hypothesis tests, and correlation analysis have been carried out. According to the data obtained from the sample group, any significant statistical relationship between depression and religious coping hasn’t been found at the end of the research.
