NOTCH and EZH2 collaborate to repress PTEN expression in breast cancer

Pappas et al. show that the combination of NOTCH and EZH2 alterations drive transcriptional repression of PTEN through reversible epigenetic modification of the PTEN promoter. These results suggest an actionable target for treating poor-prognosis breast cancer.
