Sumario:This Paper Refers to the official documents related to the protection of the rights of Brazilian young children. Those related to play activities and to infant public free education provision in the first six years of life are highlighted. The Law number 11.104 about the need to provide play areas with plenty of toys in the inpatient pediatric units described. It is pointed out that early childhood education provision helps the young child develop specific abilities, increases his/her social interaction and promote his/her autonomy as a citizen. During the last few years, the Brazil legislation improvement as related to early childhood is clear and the infancy`s rights are, on a theoretical basis, guaranteed as well as Brazil has one of the most developed laws concerning social protection to early childhood. The major problem is to make the to be followed, that is, to move it out of the paper to action. To protect and implement the infancy`s rights are not only the State responsibility but also refer to the families consciousness and to the society as well. As a conclusion, it is necessary to protect the different rights of young children and implement the public policies, in special the ones related to the education and leisure, giving young child a promising future.
