Sumario:There are two objectives of this research. First; answer the question if there is a single Balkan culture or not, second to search the relations between identity, ethnicity, nationality in Balkans and to question the presence and level of relations with culture. In this context geography based perspective of culture is accapted and culture is similar in same/near geographies while differentiated in different geographies proposition is applied. Balkan geography has a characteristics “differentiation and unmatchment live interbedded and together”. So if this characteristic of Balkans match with cultural proposition or not is the main problemetic ofof research. Hofstede’s cultural perspective and his scale is accapted in a wide range in literatüre. So literatüre review made in accordance with Hofstede’s perspective and his amprical data obtained from his scale is used. In this context, paper first tries to answer if there is a single Balkan culture like in North Europe, Middle East or Far East countries. Analyses and comparisons made according to data obtained from Hofstede’s researchs. Results show that there is not a single Balkan culture like in other three examples. But data does not show too much differantiation either. So paper asserts via amprical inputs that Balkan culture is a mix of similar cultures pointing out wealthiness of geography and wealthiness has an important root based on Turk-Ottoman period. On the other hand paper by using the same method in the same geography, search for the relations between culture, identity, ethnicity and nationality.
