This article examines the problem of the specific realization of the author’s original idea aimed to create a ramified system of themes reflecting creative antitheses – of fate and of humanistic beginning, it pays great attention to the development of the lamenting themes and the process of transformation of the melodic themes into sonorous forms; reveals the important role of imitation-canonic polyphony combined with heterophony, and the original features of the poliostinato techniques. The article examines the gradual domination of a negative creative beginning in the process of development and its reinforcement in the quartet finale.
