Sumario:This article sets out to carry out the first research into the sale of honey in local urban markets in the specialised historiography of the Kingdom of Majorca in the Late Middle Ages. The main sources are town council regulations included in Mostassaf’s books. The methodology is a qualitative and quantitative comparative study of the cited main sources. This paper is part of a wider research project about honey, from production to consumption, in the Late Medieval Crown of Aragon.
