Sumario:Recently, entrepreneurship researchers have advanced the research issue in developing economies. This study aimed to verify the differences in Enterprising Tendency of individuals who work in Brazilian large companies to individuals who work in small enterprises (SMEs). Still, we investigated the inference of generation and gender on the individual enterprising tendency. The research was performed through two surveys: the first with 494 SMEs workers and the second study was conducted with 301 employees of a large agribusiness company. It was found that individuals who work in SMEs have more enterprising tendency. In addition, it was observed that Brazilian women are more entrepreneurial than men are, and Generation Y is more entrepreneurial than the Gen X and Boomers.
