It deals with the Baie des Anges in Nice and its morning light glistening on the sea. It is a Persian text from the 12th century which is taken as an indicator: The Wisdom of the Mystic East by Sohravardî. He develops an ontology on light which, at the same time of renewing Aristotle and Plotinus's double metaphysical heritage, gives its full meaning to the Greek etymology of “Nice” – Victory – , and to the “Angels” of the bay.
