Atomic resolution imaging of cation ordering in niobium–tungsten complex oxides

Niobium-tungsten complex oxides have recently received interest for their use as energy storage materials in lithium-ion batteries. Here, atomic-resolution electron microcopy reveals their structure, including cation ordering.
