Sumario:Modernism as a cultural and literary movement had influence in Europe and America from the second half of the 19th century to 1950s. Modernism that rise as a critique of enlightened paradigms comprises different trends. Turkish poets have been influenced by modernist art and literary movements since the end of 19th century. They have developed new style when they experience modernism that croup out as West societies conditions. They often use features that incompatible with modernism. We can not indicate how and when modernism comes to Turkish poetry, because this issue is controversial. Yahya Kemal, Ahmet Haşim, Nazım Hikmet, Necip Fazıl and İkinci Yeni poems are associated by many researchers. The aim of this study is to determine discussions about modernist Turkish poets.
