Special attention is paid to substantiation of technology of selecting and monitoring applications for internal grant, which is quite close to the technology of venture financing by business angels. For each stage the author designed qualitative and quantitative indicators. The proposed steps could contribute to the involvement of academic and teaching staff in research activity that is considered as the most important feature of the academic environment.Irina A.
