Spontaneous pneumomediastinum as an unusual complication of COVID‐19 pneumonia

Abstract Spontaneous pneumomediastinum is to consider in COVID‐19 patients with progressive respiratory deterioration. It possibly reflects extensive alveolar injury and prompts close monitoring. Although generally self‐limiting, it could be lifeߚthreatening.
