| Sumario: | This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between education and clusters in the southwest region of Paraná, diagnosing the condition of access of firms to skilled labor, as well as the current regional infrastructure of vocational education and training. As methodological aspects was used SWOT methodology, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, particularly in aspects related to manpower, training and education. The research considered three clusters located in the Southwest region of Paraná: clothing, furniture and software, which were under investigation. The results demonstrate that the lack of skilled labor is a major weakness for the three clusters and that the current provision of education infrastructure in the region is considered insufficient to meet these demands professionals. |
