TECHNICAL MEANS OF PROTECTION INFORMATION-MEASURING SYSTEM CALIBRATION OF KILOVOLTMETERS

Background. The relevance of the developed information and measuring system for calibrating kilovoltmeters is determined by the constantly growing requirements for the modernization and improvement of the metrological support of new high voltage measuring instruments. However, in addition to ensur...

The relevance of the developed information and measuring system for calibrating kilovoltmeters is determined by the constantly growing requirements for the modernization and improvement of the metrological support of new high voltage measuring instruments. However, in addition to ensuring the required metrological characteristics, it becomes necessary to ensure the reliability of the system in the event of electrical breakdowns in the insulation of high voltage circuits, as well as to protect personnel from electric shock. This article discusses technical measures regarding the reliability and safety of the information-measuring system for checking the kilovoltmeters. Materials and methods. To solve this problem, the requirements of the normative technical documents GOST 12.3.019-80 were used. Results. In the course of the work, a system for protecting personnel from electric shock was developed for the information- measuring system for checking the UPK-30PT kilovoltmeters and the reliability was increased when operating at high voltage. Conclusion. The positive results of the work open up the prospect of creating a protection system for small-sized and automated information-measuring systems with operating voltages up to 100 kV and more.A.S.
