Istinsah of the Quran was realized during Osman period. To re-print of the Quran is called istinsah by Osman. The issue of istinsah of the Quran is an important issue addressed wit textualization of the Quran. The issue of the istinsah of Qurans is also related to the qiraat. While the Quran is taken into istinsah, it is become a matter of debate how much space is given to the Qiraat in the Quran. Tabarî and Qurtubî who is two important commentators in the history of tafsir, wrote important ones introduction for their tafsirs. Tabarî and Qurtubî deal of the istinsah of Qur’an, also they deal of many topiks related to tafsir, metod of tafsir and kiraat in their tafsirs. Tabarî and Qurtubî interpreted the istinsah of Qur’an as a subject related to the kiraat. We will also try to explain in a comparative manner how Tabarî and Qurtubî deal of istinsah of Qur’an as a relationship with the kiraat in this study. Qurtubi stated that the reason for the Qurans extermination is the conflicts arising from the qiraat. Tabari considered the Quran’s transcendental subject in relation to seven letters and cherries. However, both Tabari and Qurtubi have argued that there are conflicting differences in the imputed Mushaf.
