Thus, it is an enterprise that conveys Biblical concepts from the original languages (Hebrew and Greek) of the Judeo-Christian Bible into varied local languages. The historical method helps to trace the historical context of an event of mother tongue hermeneutics and its impact on society. Mothertongue hermeneutics has birthed several indigenous churches as well as many preachers of the gospel today.
