Sumario: | The objective of this paper is to reconstruct the history of the Regional Peasant Basketball Championship of the State of Chihuahua from 1945 to 1969. The research approach is qualitative, historical, and of narrative design, using sources such as documents, photographs and newspaper articles, as well as interviews. The results reveal that the venues and championships were mostly disputed between Ahumada, Guadalupe and Porvenir; players and their nicknames are identified; coaches, referees, sponsors, and differences in the serialization of some editions and years without information are also identified. It is concluded that this stage lays the foundations and configures the architecture of participants. New lines of research to complement the chronology of the championship are also offered. |
