Sumario: | The aim of this research is to determine the perceptions of teachers’ about the duty in primary and secondary school and to find out the difference between the perceptions of teachers’ with regard to different variables. The research has been conducted with the help of general search model and “The Scale of Teachers’ Perception on Duty” which has been developed by researchers.The population of reaserch is teachers who work in primary and secondary school in Batman in the education year of 2014 – 2015. According to population of search, 324 teachers have comprised thesample of research.The scale which consists five-point rating scale with 28 items is used to determine the teachers perception on duty. The datahas been analyzed and commented according to frequencies, percentages and arithmetic averages.In comparing the varyans, for two independent groups Mann-Whitney U test and more than two independent groups Krusskall-Wallis H have been utilized. In conclusion; It has been found that positive discrimination to female teachers on duty and the lack ofsupport of directors in any problem about duty. Although the teachers’ perception is not so different in both sex and seniority in terms of “responsibility”, it has been significantly different in terms of “personal effect” in favour of female teachers.The teachers’ perseption about duty isn’t significantly different acording to teachers’ institution and number of weekly duty. |
