Sumario:Systematic archeological excavations and studies conducted in the Asi River delta have revealed the existence of some ancient settlements. These places are quite important in terms of archeological tourism, which is a tourism niche emerging as a result of the relationship between archeology and tourism sciences. This study aims to evaluate the archeological tourism potential of the Asi River delta from a geographical perspective and discuss the value of this area as an archeological heritage. Is the Asi River delta suitable or archeological tourism? Are archeological tourism activities possible in this area? What features of this area are important for archeological tourism? Which key elements of archeological tourism potential exist in this area? The present study was based on the data collected from the scientific research in the literature, various thematic maps, and systematic field surveys. In addition, the obtained data were evaluated through SWOT analysis. It was concluded that the Asi River delta is suitable for archeological tourism.
