Sumario:Dedicated to the celebration of 100 years since the World War I, this study aims at a general assessment of Soviet historiography in this fi eld within the period between 1956 and 1985. As a result of this analysis, there has been ascertained a clear involution of Soviet historiography of World War One from timid attempts at de-Stalinization between 1956 and 1964 to a an undisguised neo-Stalinism in the 70s.
