Segment-specific optogenetic stimulation in Drosophila melanogaster with linear arrays of organic light-emitting diodes

Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) can offer an attractive approach for providing light stimulation in high-throughput optogenetics. Here, the authors report a microstructured OLED array that provides local photo-stimulation in Drosophil a melanogaster larvae for controlled motor responses.
