Sumario:The purpose of this study was to consider trade and economic cooperation as a factor in the foreign policy of the two powers of the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China. Today, China’s foreign policy is unconditionally connected with almost all countries of the world, while the peculiarity of the PRC is to consistently defend its interest, while skillfully building relationships with all states. The results of the study show that in recent years there has been an upsurge in bilateral trade and economic relations, which is expressed in high growth rates of trade, expansion of investment cooperation, intensifcation of interregional and border relations, and a noticeable increase in the interest of Russian and Chinese business circles in mutual cooperation.
