Sumario:Background and Objective: Tubo-ovarian abscess is a final stage in acute pelvic inflammatory disease, which may be occurred after uterine instrumentation and surgical operation and it is a rare disease. Case: A 35 year old woman referred with pelvic pressure, pelvic pain and diarrhea one week after curettage and a 7.5×8.5 cm mass was reported in her sonography. Tubo-ovarian abscess was completely improved with antibiotic without any complications. Conclusion: Pelvic abscess should be considered in patients with fever and pelvic pressure after curettage. Early diagnosis and treatment of tubo-ovarian abscess cause to decrease mortality and morbidity.
