The STEM Semantics Survey was developed by Knezek and Christensen (2008). Then the analysis of validity and reliability of the scale was carried out on a unified group including pre-service teachers. In this study, pre-service teachers were selected as the study group. Permission has been obtained from the authors for the adaptation of the scale. 132 volunteer pre-service teachers studying in Erciyes University, Faculty of Education participated in the research process. During the data analysis, AMOS 24.0 was used for confirmatory factor analysis and SPSS 22.0 was used for explanatory factor analysis to confirm the structural validity of the scale. In order to determine the reliability of the scale, the Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient was calculated in the SPSS 22.0 program. In addition, item analysis of the scale was made. As a result of the analyzes, the scale is seen to be composed of five factors (science, technology, engineering, math, career). Cronbach’s alpha coefficient for the overall instrument was calculated as .82. The reliability coefficients of the sub-factors were detected respectively; science ? = .91, technology ? = .84, engineering ? = .86, mathematics ? = .92 and career ? = .87. The adapted scale includes 25 items.
