Sumario:The article reviews successful experience of brachial plexus blockade under ultrasound control and describes this technique. The authors give evidence, that using both ultrasonic imaging and neurostimulation during brachial plexus blockade allows to improve significantly (by 31,6 %) quality of blockade (p, = 0,01) and to decrease (by 21,4 %) the risk of purposeless vessels puncture (p= 0,02).
