Sumario:While many “citizen” lists were presented to French voters during the 2020 municipal elections, this article returns to the emergence of a list claiming its municipalism within the political space of the city of Nantes. In a context characterized by several mobilizations against emblematic metropolisation projects, this article analyses a campaign speech of the list illustrating how it tried to establish opposition to these urban projects as a major issue in the local electoral arena. The cartography of the electoral results at the polling station level highlights the popularity of this list in neighbourhoods where young inhabitants are experiencing significant social (gentrification in particular) and urban transformations (ZAC), these neighbourhoods also being where major local struggles have taken root.
